Transactional Law Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Transactional Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our client’s law firm in Hartford! You will support all aspects of our transactional practice, specializing in corporate law, real estate, probate, and estate planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Law: Draft articles of organization, corporate resolutions, and assist with business formations and annual filings.
- Real Estate: Prepare deeds, review title commitments, organize closing checklists, and coordinate closings.
- Estate & Probate: Draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, and prepare and file probate petitions.
- Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and manage onboarding information.
- Practice Support: Manage deadlines, maintain case files, and ensure seamless document execution.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in transactional law, estate planning, or real estate is required.
- Core Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high professional reliability.
- Attributes: Highly motivated self-starter who can manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Technical: Experience with entity filing systems, probate software, or legal case management tools.
