Service Technician
Job Description
Our client, a respected industrial and mechanical services company is seeking a Service Technician to join its field service team. This position is responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment within commercial and industrial boiler systems. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on commercial and industrial equipment, including boilers, feedwater systems, pumps, controls, and related components.
-Assist with piping, wiring, and general mechanical service work.
-Support installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
-Maintain safety certifications and training, ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements.
-Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support customer operations.
-Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
-Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn technical service skills.
-Ability to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively in a field environment.
-Basic understanding of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems preferred.
-Willingness to travel to customer locations and work in varying environments.
-Prior experience in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is helpful but not required.
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Mark started his career in recruiting immediately following his college career at UW-Whitewater where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism Advertising and participated on their nationally ranked football team. He is a high energy leader with a skill to connect and build relationships. His ultimate goal is to develop more of a partnership, where he is an extension to the search, both on the company and candidate side. Mark is CPC certified by the National Association of Personnel Services and also participates on the Board of Directors for our state association, Recruiters of Wisconsin.
Mark is a family man and loves spending quality time with his wife and three kids. In his free time, Mark enjoys playing golf, following his favorite sports teams (The Green Bay Packers and the Whitewater Warhawks) and doing DIY projects.
