Service Technician
Job Description
Overview:
Our client, a respected industrial and mechanical services company is seeking a Service Technician to join its field service team. This position is responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment within commercial and industrial boiler systems. No prior experience is required—comprehensive on-the-job training is provided for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on commercial and industrial equipment, including boilers, feedwater systems, pumps, controls, and related components.
· Assist with piping, wiring, and general mechanical service work.
· Support installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
· Maintain safety certifications and training, ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements.
· Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support customer operations.
· Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
· Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn technical service skills.
· Ability to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively in a field environment.
· Basic understanding of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems preferred.
· Willingness to travel to customer locations and work in varying environments.
· Prior experience in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is helpful but not required.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
