Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our client’s team in the Jackson area. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Experience in personal injury and worker's compensation is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Management: Prepare, file, and manage legal documents and correspondence.
- Communication: Contact clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and courts.
- Drafting: Create pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement documents.
- Organization: Maintain case files and manage attorney calendars.
- Trial Support: Assist attorneys with trial preparation and hearings.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with extreme discretion.

- Job Type: Full-time in office
