Irrigation Manager
Job Description
Our client, a well-established, high-end residential landscape design-build company in Southeastern Wisconsin is hiring an experienced Irrigation Manager to oversee irrigation installation, service, and maintenance operations.
This is a leadership-focused role ideal for a senior irrigation technician or irrigation supervisor ready to manage scheduling, support field teams, and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily irrigation operations including installation, service, and seasonal maintenance
- Schedule irrigation technicians and coordinate field work
- Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance for complex irrigation systems
- Assist with irrigation system design input and scope development
- Support estimating with site evaluations and material planning
- Coordinate irrigation timelines with project managers
- Perform system diagnostics, repairs, controller programming, and system upgrades
- Maintain irrigation inventory, materials, and equipment
- Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards
- Support training and mentorship of irrigation technicians
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of residential irrigation installation and service experience
- Experience troubleshooting irrigation systems, controllers, valves, heads, and water flow issues
- Leadership or Lead Irrigation Technician experience preferred
- Strong understanding of irrigation system design and components
- Ability to manage schedules and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license

Mark started his career in recruiting immediately following his college career at UW-Whitewater where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism Advertising and participated on their nationally ranked football team.
