If YOU are an enthusiastic, dependable, and service-oriented Interior Designer that wants to partner directly with commercial clients to translate their organizational visions into functional realities, managing multiple projects across diverse commercial markets then we want to talk to YOU!!!!

 

What you will do:

  • Space Optimization: Maximize the potential of commercial spaces while aligning with client budgets and structural realities.
  • Client Collaboration: Lead client meetings to present design options and select flooring, wallcoverings, furniture, lighting, and color palettes.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and manage Finish Schedules, Floor/Wall/Base Legends, detailed installation elevations, and interior notes within architectural plan sets.
  • Field Coordination: Build Design Boards for jobsites and lead pre-installation meetings with Superintendents and subcontractors to ensure flawless design execution.
  • Project Management: Track interior furnishing procurement across multiple active construction sites; review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Library Management: Cultivate vendor relationships and maintain an up-to-date material sample library.

Job Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional interior design experience (commercial design-build background is highly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Revit and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Blueprints: Proven ability to read construction documents, review submittals, and process RFIs efficiently.
  • Flexibility: A collaborative team player willing to meet with clients on occasional evenings or weekends if required.
  • Mindset: A self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a passion for continuous learning and driving team success.
  • Education: An Interior Design degree or a strong professional portfolio is a significant plus.
