Assistant Plant Manager
Job Description
- Team Leadership and Employee Engagement
- Coaching and mentoring employees and creating a strong workplace culture
- Production management
- Implement and track KPI’s for production targets in conjunction with the Plant Manager, including quality control and waste reduction
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies
- Continuous improvement
- Work cross-functionally with logistics, quality, operations, and other team members to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency
Job Requirements
- 3 – 5 of experience in a supervisory or lead role; flexible packaging industry or similar manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of flexible packaging processes, equipment, and materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual Spanish & English preferred
