Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations & Manager Support - Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations concerns and assist managers with day-to-day employee matters.  Support and coach managers on human resource-related policies and practices.
  • Leave and Compliance Management - Oversee and manage Workers’ Compensation claims, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  
  • Benefits Support - Serve as a go-to resource for more complex benefits-related questions, working in tandem with the Human Resource Coordinator.  Assist in administering annual open enrollment and other benefits-related initiatives.
  • Annual Human Resource Processes - Drive key annual initiatives such as performance feedback, compensation adjustments, open enrollment, and the Top Workplace survey.
  • Project Support - Support new initiatives coordinating rollout, communication, and tracking.
  • Payroll - Act as a backup for payroll processing.

Job Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Two to four years of progressive human resource experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and leave management (FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation).
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills—you’re the type who doesn’t let things fall through the cracks.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
  • Experience with ADP or other HRIS systems a plus.
