Commercial Lines CSR/Account Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our clients dynamic team at their insurance brokerage firm. As a Commercial Lines CSR, you will be an essential part of our client services division, providing outstanding support to their commercial insurance clients and ensuring their satisfaction with their insurance policies.
Responsibilities:
- Client Assistance: Act as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients, promptly responding to their inquiries, policy changes, and service requests via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
- Policy Management: Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Quotation and Proposal Preparation: Collaborate with insurance agents to prepare accurate and competitive insurance quotes and proposals for potential commercial clients.
- Policy Review and Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of clients' existing insurance policies, identifying coverage gaps and suggesting suitable enhancements to meet their evolving needs.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all client files and documentation are up-to-date, organized, and compliant with industry regulations and internal protocols.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to facilitate efficient policy servicing and problem resolution.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new commercial insurance products to provide clients with the most relevant and competitive solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to support business development efforts, contributing to the growth of the commercial insurance portfolio.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle client concerns and complaints professionally, aiming to reach satisfactory resolutions and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge of commercial insurance products and industry practices.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications in insurance, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Commercial Lines CSR or similar role within the insurance industry is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policy servicing procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping clients.
- Proficiency in using insurance management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative to solve problems.
- Possession of relevant insurance licenses or willingness to obtain them as required by state regulations.
