Superintendent
Job Description

They offer opportunities that involve coordinating a carpentry team's activities, planning and scheduling tasks, ensuring safety regulation compliance, and overseeing carpentry projects from inception to completion.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing construction project’s subcontractors and effectively managing carpenters per the construction timeline provided by the Construction Project Manager.
- Must be able to self-perform rough and finish carpentry as needed per project
- Supervise and instruct carpenters and other construction workers
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Interpret and implement blueprints to ensure project success
- Address any client concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the project are available and properly maintained
- Ordering materials and equipment as required for the project with reference to our procurement department. Coordinate with suppliers to also receive materials
- Providing quality control for all completed works
- Willing to travel within a 2-hour radius of the Milwaukee
Job Requirements
Candidates should have these qualifications:
- Extreme attention to detail
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman or a similar supervisory role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, task-driven, and able to work independently as well as with others
- Good physical condition / stamina required as general labor will be needed
- Minimum 5 years foreman experience and 3 years superintendent in the industry
- Ability to shift tasks at a moment’s notice
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
